ICO involves itself and its members in a variety of religious, educational, and socio-political activities, including the following:
- Serving as the authorized Islamic representative to state and local government agencies
- Serving as a unified voice to our elected public officials
- Consolidating and publicizing news releases representative of the views of Ohio’s Muslim communities
- Promoting and involving the various members in the celebration of Islamic Day of Ohio
- Holding an annual Ohio Islamic Conference
- Representing Ohio’s Muslim community at state and local interfaith conferences and meetings
- Serving as a resource to our public libraries by means of recommending authentic Islamic literatures and texts
